Chickpea burger
Chickpeas are a legume rich in protein and iron, being a great option to replace meat in vegetarian and vegan recipes.
Veggie burger recipe:
- 4 cups chickpeas;
- 1 medium onion;
- 1 cup of crushed flaked oats in a blender or oatmeal;
- Seasonings: parsley, olive oil, black pepper and salt to taste.
How to prepare the veggie burger:
- Soak the grain for at least 8 hours.
- Once wet, place the chickpeas in a pressure cooker and cook for 30 minutes.
